Year six have had a special visit from The Newcastle Eagles who came in to do their ‘Hoops 4 Health’ roadshow. Year six enjoyed drawing their favourite emojis to make them happy and practising their basketball skills in the hall with Coach C!

Year six have been reading ‘The Machine Gunners’ in their English lessons and will be writing a diary entry from the perspective of the main character, Chas. The children took part in a press conference, interviewing Chas about what he found in the forest after the air raid strike.

Some of our Year four, fives and sixes have been to Cardinal Hume School to take part in a hockey tournament. The children did really well, utilising all of the skills they have learned in their PE lessons. The boys and girls did well to pass to one another and really impressed us with their dribbli
