Year 6 arrived safely at Dukeshouse Wood, in Hexham, for the start of their three day residential visit.  After a (thankfully) uneventful coach journey, the children went through an initial orientation, the challenge of making up beds and then some midday refuelling.  Let the activities commence.

The Year 5 and 6 children have competed in the annual Glynwood Games. The children were entered in running, throwing and jumping events and the games concluded with the relays. This half term in PE Year 6 have been working on their cricket skills. Batting, fielding and catching skills are improving and the children are thoroughly enjoying playing competitively!
